Corvinus Quartet are:
Toth Valeria violinist-teacher had got her honored degree of the Ferenc Liszt
Music Academy of Budapest in 2002. Her violin teacher was Eszter Perenyi, who was awarded many times for her effective activity. Toth Valeria had
participated in many master courses, the most important ones are: Denes Zsigmondy, Eszter Perenyi, Sandor Devich, Tibor Varga, Dora Schwarzberg,
Michael Bolliny, Marta Gulyas and Lorant Fenyves. Chamber music courses: Reichenau, Santander, Bayreuth, Regensburg, Koszeg. She took part of the
Italian concert trip of the Symphony Orchestra of Miskolc as concertmaster.

After her studies of the Music Academy of Budapest she had been admitted to Audsburg, to the class of Denes Zsigmondy-who is a recognized authority on
teaching the violin in Europe as well as the USA. She is the member of the National Youth Orchestra, the Erdody Chamber Orchestra, and performed in
such famous orchestras as the String players of Budapest, and with the Budapest Opera House orchestra.
Gulyas Emese started to play the violin at age of 7 in Budapest, at the
class of Dr. Skultety Antalne. She had her intermediate studies in the Weiner Leo Music High school and she attended the human class of Illyes
Gyula High school. After a long thinking period she decided to play the violin so she continued her violin studies in the class of Laszlo Kote in
the famous Bela Bartok Conservatory of Budapest. In 1999 she was the concertmaster of the conservatory's symphony orchestra. At the present she
is the student of Istvan Kertesz at the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy. Her chamber music teachers are Geza Hargitai (Bartok Quartet) Sandor Devich,
and Karoly Botvai. She is interested in many other things except playing the violin, from piano sonatas until choir conducting, what she is
practicing actively for many years.
She took part of many master courses, the most important ones are the courses of Denes Zsigmondy and the Brahms Master course of Gyorgu Kurtag.
She is performing in string quartets for 4 years, in 2003 she won 1st prize at the National Weiner Leo Chamber Competition, their teacher was
Sandor Devich. In 2004 she won the 1st prize of the Yamaha International Scholarship for Strings at Budapest. Since 2000 she is performing in the
Danubia National Youth Orchestra, Dohnanyi Erno Symphony Orchestra and Erdody Chamber Orchestra.
Eniko Magyar received her Master degree for performing and teaching on the violin with honors from
the Hungarian National Music Academy in Budapest in 2003. Her teacher in the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy was Eszter Perenyi. During her studies
she received lessons from world famous musicians as Lorant Fenyves, Mikulas Jelinek, Denes Kovacs, Tibor Varga, Katalin Sebestyen and Ervin
Schiffer. She participated 3 times (1998,1999,2003) in the International Master Course of Morges Switzerland, where she successfully performed
for many times. During her studies in the academy she studied with Geza Hargitai of the famous Bartok Quartet, with Bela Banfalvi of the Budapest
Strings and Sandor Devich. In 1998 she won 1st prize at the Violin Competition of the Music Conservatory of Szeged, and as the winner she
performed in Sepsiszentgyorgy in Transylvania, at the Gala of 1st prize winners from Europe. The concert was broadcasted live in the National
Romanian Radio. At the last years of her studies in the Music Academy she was the concertmaster of the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy's Symphony
Orchestra, and also she is the concertmaster of the Ventoscala Chamber Symphony Orchestra of Budapest. At the present she is the member of the
Danubia National Youth Orchestra, and performs with the famous Hungarian National Symphony Orchestra and took part in the orchestra's concert
trip in the USA in 2003. She started to play the viola in the Corvinus Quartet and immediately she fell in love with this special and touching
instrument.
Andrea Pákolitz is
a forth year student at the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy in Budapest. Her
teacher is Miklós Perényi. She started to play the cello when she was 8 at
the Liszt Ferenc Music School of Baja, she was the student of Belleiné H.
Györgyi. In 1996 she won the 3rd prize at the National Friss Antal Cello
Competition and in the same year she was chosen to play at the Christmas
concert of the Hungarian Embassy in London. She got accepted into the
Kodály Zoltán Conservatory without entrance examination, where her teacher
was Márta Agócs. She was 14 when she participated at the National Gaspar
Cassado Cello Contest, where she won the 5th prize. In 2000 , at the
National Starker János Cello Contest she won 1st prize, in 2002, at the
National Popper Dávid Cello Competition she got the 3rd prize. She took
part in the masterclass of János Pothoranszky and Róbert Nagy many times.
